Philippines-based Armada Brands, an ecommerce aggregator, has raised US$1.3 million in a pre-seed round led by M Venture Partners and Foxmont Capital Partners, with Antler and Sketchnote participating.

Armada Brands invests in and helps scale online-first direct-to-consumer brands within Southeast Asia that earn around US$10,000 in monthly sales.
Aside from funding, the aggregator also provides brands with support on commercial management and operations. This includes marketing, fulfillment, and customer service.
Andreas Hufnagi and Gelo Torres founded the firm in 2021. The latest funds will go toward more investments in brands and in strengthening its ecommerce support team.
Other investors in the round include:
Paulo Campos (co-founder and chair at Zalora Philippines)
Lisa Gokongwei Cheng
Constantin Robertz (co-founder and CEO of Locad)
Jannis Dargel (co-founder and COO of Locad)
