Career

Allan Cabrera is a Vice President and the Strategic Finance Head at Mynt, the holding company of GCash. He leads the company's Financial Planning & Analysis and Capital Markets functions, playing a key role in shaping Mynt's financial strategy and communicating its value proposition to various stakeholders.

Prior to joining Mynt, Allan was part of the Southeast Asia investment team at Temasek, a global investment holding company headquartered in Singapore. He began his professional career in investment banking with Credit Suisse in Singapore.

As a Venture Partner at Foxmont, he supports emerging Philippine entrepreneurs in building sustainable, growth-oriented ventures, drawing on his experience across Asia to guide founders toward long-term value creation.

Education and Inspiration

Allan graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree and holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, where he was also a part-time lecturer. He has successfully completed all three levels of the CFA Program.

Passion Beyond Business

Allan enjoys unhurried weekends filled with good food and family time, including their dog, who’s very much part of the pack. He finds balance through an active lifestyle, recently taking up tennis and Pilates to unwind and stay grounded outside of work.
